Best man

I’ve had the most amazing experience! I got to be the Best man at my grandma’s wedding! At long last, she got re-married to her man of many years. It was a great and beautiful moment that i will cherish forever. To be trusted like this, to be given this task. To be given such a role. Amazing, nothing short of amazing!

They had a small ceremony, we went out to dine, and then went back to their place for some delicious cake. Later that evening, some other retirees arranged a proper wedding party for them - and let me tell you, these folks knows how to create good moments! They had ordered cakes, prepared speeches, played music and shared some great stories.

I saw the joy and love in my grandma’s eyes as she danced her first dance with her new husband. And i must admit, it gave me hope. Hope that there is never too late. That there is no age limit to love, to such feelings. That true love can be found more than once.
