First time visitors - and its family!
For the first time, i’m having visitors over in my new house! I moved into this house in March, and this summer - i’m having three other adults living with me for a few days. I love it, but at the same time, it is a bit unusual for me. I guess it stems from the fact that i’m so used to being alone at this point, that it just feels strange. How my house is now somewhat “limited”. But oh well, it is still nice having them over!
The thing i love about my family, is that we LOVE to joke around. We laugh every-darn-time we’re together, and we do a lot of it. We all love to spread joy, laughs and make other people smile. At the same time, we also manage to enter the “deeper waters” of conversations. To talk about the real stuff.
However, i do have some things that i am a bit worried about. Well, using the word worried might be wrong, perhaps concerned is a better fit -anyhow: i’m afraid that any of them would break stuff. Which again just creates more work for me. When i’m all alone, i know what happens, how things work, what to do and not to do, and so on. Fair enough, they’re all adults and so on - so they probably won’t ruin or break anything, but still. Something i will have to work on there, being overly cautious to these things. This is some form of exposure therapy?
Anyhow, it has been lovely having them around. We’ve had some great days so far! I’ve shown them the city of Sandnes, we’ve met more of our family down here, and in general just had a good time! This has been a great kickoff to my summer vacation!
