Date on a beach

Last night, Friday the 13th (yeah, i know!) - i went on my first date with this girl i’ve been chatting with for the past week. I don’t often go on dates, but i am by no means new to dating. Anyhow! This date was truly great. I picked her up outside her place, and we drove for about 15 minutes to a beach establishment, where we first got ice cream, and then went for a stroll along the beach.

I think we spent about 2 hours or so, just chatting, getting to know one another. I even managed to get her to laugh a couple of times - and i tell you, she has an amazing laughter - and a beautiful smile to match! I love to be silly, and make people laugh, so having an appealing laughter is super essential for me.

We got to talk about anything from guilty-pleasure shows, to where we’ve lived, work, and so on. The standard “ice breakers”. I didn’t want to get too deep into the big-big questions, such as kids and so on… But from what i managed to catch on, she is very family oriented. She loves spending time with her family, and is very connected to her roots here in the neighboring towns and areas. I can’t do anything but admiring that - as I do not feel the same way about the areas i’ve lived over the years… not like that, at least.

Anyways, i hope that we’ll get to go on a second date in the coming week.
I had a blast, and want to get to know this girl.
She seems awesome.
